Sema ÇİFTÇİ graduated in 2018 from the Department of Industrial Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Sakarya University. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in a project titled “Quick Die Change in Lean Manufacturing Techniques and Its Application in a PVC Factory.” Her bachelor’s thesis focused on “Establishing and Implementing an Inventory Control System in a PVC Production Factory.” In 2018, she began her master’s program in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the Graduate School of Science, Kırıkkale University, and completed it in 2021 with a thesis titled “Planning Post-Earthquake Health Resources Using an Optimization Approach.” Since 2022, she has been pursuing her Ph.D. in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the Graduate School of Science, Gazi University. Her research and interest areas include operations research, simulation, optimization, fuzzy logic, and lean manufacturing techniques.
